2020 Niue CELTIC CALENDAR 2oz Silver Antique Coin

2020 Niue CELTIC CALENDAR 2oz Silver Antique Coin
The Celtic Calendar was probably created by druids, i.e. Celtic priests. They lived mainly in forests; they worshiped the deities of trees, streams and animals. They believed that a tree was the guardian of every man. Being born on a particular day, month and year, a person becomes like one of the trees. This calendar was created about 2,000 years ago.
The reverse of the coin depicts 12 months and the leaves corresponding to their trees.
The calendar consists of the following characters: Apple, Fir, Elm, Cypress, Poplar, Cedar, Pine, Willow, Lime, Oak, Hazel, Rowan, Maple, Nut, Jasmine, Chestnut, Ash, Hornbeam, Fig, Birch, Olive, Beech.
This is the second coin from the "Calendars" series. The first was the "Aztec Calendar". A beautiful, oxidized coin dedicated to the Celtic calendar. Thanks to its high relief and additional resin it can become a unique coin in the collection. The mintage is only 500 pieces.
